3D ARTWORK / RENDERING
In 2022 we launched our new exhibition stand for our ELEX events. The ELEX show was in November 2022 and we required stand artwork prior to this for social media and marketing.
From the details given I created and the entire stand as a 3D model in Adobe Dimension so we could launch imagery before we had any physical photographs taken at the first event.
Issue 3 of The Competent Person magazine had a large focus on reducing our carbon footprint and Net Zero 2050 with articles on Solar, Electric Vehicles and battery storage.
For the cover it was decided to go with an image of Earth, which captured the above elements, but we wanted something unique and not an image already on stock image sites, it cover also needed to have a highlight on the UK.
The cover to the right is the finished image, the planet and 3D elements were created with Adobe Dimension and the background/effects were done in Photoshop afterwards. To view in full resolution please click on the cover image.
Due to the pre-sale of publications not yet printed, I created each of the guidance books as individual 3D models in Adobe Dimension.
This was my first experience using 3D software, and using the combined effects of Dimension and Photoshop I was able to create more visually appealing designs such as the 3D book shelf and open pages/laptop imagery below for some of our adverts.
